According to Jashemski, this was the peristyle garden reached easily from the Vicolo dei Soprastanti.
The peristyle portico was supported by pillars at the corners and by a column in the middle of each of the four sides.
A low wall built between the columns and pillars, was broken by an entrance into the garden on the north wall.

According to Jashemski, to the west of the peristyle garden was a paved courtyard with a portico on the south and the east.
A large window in the west wall looked down on the garden below, and to the Bay of Naples beyond.
This courtyard was probably decorated with potted plants and trees.
