The unexcavated area has now been cleared and is seen on the plan as leading into room 10, with room 9 beneath the area of the steps.

The room with the window, on the left, has now been fully excavated and can be seen as PAP room 18 (from above).

The large amount of debris, lower centre, has also been cleared, and can be seen as PAP room 17 (from above).

Looking south-west across peristyle/garden area 5. Room 9 can be seen under the grey metal stairway.

According to an information card in the house -

“In the garden at the centre of the triporticus, the original design of the flowerbeds was reconstructed thanks to the imprints of the fences and casts of garden plants. The garden was also decorated with a fountain which was crowned with a statue of a young boy, on which we can identify traces of original colours.”
