The latrine entrance is located to the left of the stairs leading to the summa cavea of the large theatre.
This is between the triangular forum and the principal access door to the theatre crypta.

According to Barry Hobson, the place itself is dark with two small windows, and despite the fact that there would have been water running through the drain to remove excreta, it must have been very unpleasant in Roman times.
