A female (poetess?) is reading a diptych, and a boy with a red cloak has a plate for offerings.
Parco Archeologico di Pompei, inventory number 86075.
This is part of a larger panel, one of several items recomposed from a large number of fragments found in a channel in the garden.
It is thought to be from the reconstruction work following the damage after the earthquake of AD62.
Its original room location is unknown.
