According to PPM –
“The right half of the mosaic threshold has been restored and has
some differences in the termination of the rod that separates the shoots,
understood as a branch with two divergent leaves. In the centre of the mosaic
threshold is a six-petalled rosette inserted in a
circle flanked by the shoots.”

In the north wall at the east end (on right), the decorated recess for the couch can be seen, as well as remains of the flooring.
On a black plinth, a yellow moulded cornice marks the attachment of the black zoccolo/dado closed at the top by a red band.
