VI.9.5 Pompeii. 1842 painting by W. Zahn of wall from triclinium on south side of pseudoperistyle 19.
See Zahn, W., 1842. Die schönsten Ornamente und merkwürdigsten Gemälde aus Pompeji, Herkulanum und Stabiae: II. Berlin: Reimer, Tav. 74.
According to PPM, this may have been from triclinium 20, a large room in the south-west corner of this house.
This was the only reproduction of a painted wall found from here.
According to PPM, the above painting was referred to as being from the room 20, in a 19th century bibliography.
Instead, Bastet referred to it as being from triclinium 18, another room on the south side of pseudoperistyle 19.
