V.2.4 Pompeii. Room 15, drawing of the painting of banqueting scene from west wall of triclinium. According to Gusman, this picture was in a very bad state of preservation. It showed a naked woman dancing before the guests to the sound of flutes played by tibicines seated on the floor. Wine flowed freely, and one of the guests claps his hands. See Gusman, P. (1900). According to Gusman, this picture was in a very bad state of preservation.
