In the centre of the floor of cocciopesto was a “carpet” of coloured marble pieces edged by a line of white tesserae in the room.
The anteroom floor had a pattern of dotted white tesserae.

According to Richardson, this room had two identifiable paintings. The painting of Europa on the Bull is still on the east wall.
On this west wall, in the centre, would have been the painting of Bellerophon harnessing Pegasus (SAP inventory number 20878)

Il triclinio
era ombreggiata da un pergolato: le colonne che lo sostenevano, di colore
rosso, si elevano agli angoli anteriori dei letti laterali.
La colonna che
poggia sul l. imus era fornita di una base di ardesia, mentre l’altra insiste
direttamente sul letto.
In corrispondenza
dei capitelli, sul muro di contro, sono ancora visibili i fori che reggevano le
travi del pergolato,
Questo
triclinio presenta, eccezionalmente, una minore lunghezza del l. imus rispetto
agli altri due.
Il solo l.
summus era fornito di fulcrum.
Esternamente i
tre letti presentano un rivestimento di intonaco giallo, internamente una
decorazione policroma a motivi geometrici alternati ad elementi floreali.
Della mensa
tricliniare rimane solo una piccola parte.
