According
to Spinazzola –
“The west and east walls (of the atrium “c”) were continuous, other than for a doorway in the east wall opening in the north-east corner (into room “g”).
Here was the wooden stairway rising to the upper floor, no less than 6.50m long by a height of 5m, roughly.”

According to Spinazzola, this painting showing a house with two-storey porticoes and windows, was the decoration of a zoccolo in a room on the upper floor.
