IX.7.1 Pompeii. May 2006. Unexcavated vicolo, looking north. IX.11.
Found on the south-east corner of the insula IX.7, was a fragmentary list of magistrates from VICUS URBULANENSES, CIL IV 7807. This was found on the east wall of IX.7.1, facing the small unexcavated vicolo. The graffito was not conserved. Electoral notices mentioning the Urbulanenses all appear to have been found on the north side of Via della Abbondanza at III.4.1, III.4.3 and III.6.1. Underneath CIL IV 7807, a graffito CIL IV 7808 was found. According to Della Corte, found 11th February 1915 painted in black and red, an electoral register of Magistri Vici and Compiti of the pompeian Pagus Urbulanus. In the third and fourth line of the list, after the consular date, one reads in fact: (Pagi) Urbul(ani) / (Mag)(istri) Vici [CIL IV 7807] See Della Corte, M., 1965. Case ed Abitanti di Pompei.
