According to Sogliano, two painted cupids were seen on the walls of this cubiculum.
A standing cupid in the attitude of shooting an arrow, and a standing cupid with a short sword in his right hand, and a shield in his left arm.
His head was missing, and the right arm was without a hand.

According to Boyce, the walls of both were coated with white stucco. Fiorelli referred to them as due nicchie per I Penati.

The remains of the high red zoccolo can be seen on the north wall below the niches.

The zoccolo would have been red, but now completely discoloured. The middle zone of the wall would have had yellow panels.
