In the panels on the walls of the atrium were paintings of still life and countryside scenes, now vanished or illegible.

Doorway to room 9, a cubiculum on west side of main entrance corridor.
According to Garcia y Garcia, in September 1943 the same bomb that caused damage to IX.1.20, also damaged this house.
The west wall of the atrium was damaged, and the IV style painted plaster was partially decayed.
In the cubiculum next to the fauces, the pilaster that served as a jamb was broken.

According to Bragantini etc, the dado in this room was red and painted with plants separated by narrow divisions.
The middle zone was painted with blue panels edged with borders with triangles, separated by narrow divisions.
Some fragments were put back in situ, after the 1943 bombing.

According to Bragantini etc, when found this room had a black dado, and the middle zone was painted with purple panels separated by borders.

In the north wall was the recess for the couch. The rear wall of the stairs can be seen, leading up to the upper floor.

On the left, in the east wall, are two windows; the smaller one was blocked up and substituted by the square larger one.
Above the windows, the square holes for the upper floor support beams can be seen.
At the east end of the south wall is the doorway leading under the stairs.
On the south wall, the high zoccolo/plinth was painted red separated by a narrow white band and crowned with a moulded stucco cornice.
The upper part of the wall was rough plaster.
On the west wall, graffiti accounts were noted.
