Rear of entrance room looking north towards doorway to room, possibly a dormitory.
According to Fiorelli, the site of a stable manger was against the wall.
The wall was a painted wall giving him the impression that originally the hospitium had seen better days.
The doorway to the area used as the stable can be seen on the right.

During excavations in 2006 a drain was found in the centre of the room running from west to east (front to back in this photo).
The drain continued to the street where a rectangular exit point is still visible in the front of the kerb.
