According to PPM –
The most important painted element was to be the medallions with female portraits seen in
the triclinium.
On the south
wall, the decoration would have been IV Style, today completely faded.
The plinth and
zoccolo were painted black, the middle zone was
painted yellow, with the upper portion white.
The cornice was
polychrome stucco.
The zoccolo still
has traces of plants (and birds), and a medallion at the centre of the panel on
the right (west end)

According to PPM – The IV Style decoration is better preserved on this wall.
The central panel was white, the side panels were yellow edged with a border of “carpet” design;
the one on the right (north end) contained a medallion showing the head of a young girl – now taken off
The zoccolo would have been black with painted plants.
