VIII.4.15 Pompeii. March 2009. Room 5, oecus. Looking north towards the north-east corner of the portico, the oecus, and the small doorway into the atrium. According to Fiorelli, when excavated this oecus had two paintings on its walls. He thought one was Paris and Oenone.
The other representing two bearded men talking together and accompanying their words with gestures. Helbig wrote, this room had paintings of Paris and Oenone (1280) and the other was unclear (1398).
