According to Gell, right of the entrance is a monkey playing the double pipes painted on the wall as a sort of guardian to the place.

According to Della Corte, this house on the north-east corner of the insula was another dependence of the house of Coeli.
It preserved intact its ancient facade in large blocks of Nocera tufa, with the steps in number 10 leading to the upper floor.
He said he thought that there did not seem to be any doubt that in 79AD, this was the house of another Medicus.
He thought the upper floor was a clinic.
A painted graffito that was visible on the architrave of
tufa as a faint trace until 1817 showed the name of the medico. [CIL IV 9934].
