According to Kuivalainen, this a Bacchic votive stele of the Samnite era.
It depicts a front facing skinny youth with his weight on his right foot, pouring wine from a cantharus for an animal rather resembling a dog than a panther.
The middle part of the thyrsus is missing.
The width of the frame varies, being thinner on the right hand side.
It is cut deep into a rectangular upright tufa block and the workmanship is rather coarse.
The excavation details are not known.
PAP inventory number 8660.
