Jashemski –
“There was a gutter
around the edges of the garden.
In the north gutter
there was a lead aqueduct pipe, which coming from the east, divided near the
north-west column into two branches.
One was attached to
the lower part of the large column and pilaster, the
other was directed toward the kitchen and the pool connected with the bath.”
