In the centre of the tablinum is a square mosaic emblema.
On the walls were found paintings of a Satyr and Nymph, Iphigenia in Tauris, a Maenad carrying a cupid and one possibly the Return of the Corpse Of Hector. Some of these can now be seen in the Naples Museum. Photo courtesy of Klaus Heese.

Some of the wax tablets recording transactions which were found at V.1.26. Now in Naples Archaeological Museum.

In this room was a painting of Theseus abandoning Ariadne (now in Naples Museum).
Still faintly visible on the walls are a painting of Paris judging the beauty of the three goddesses and a number of portrait medallions and masks.
The room has a mosaic floor with a centre panel of square marble tiles.

A picture of Dionysus, standing, holding a thyrsus, was in the central panel of the bed alcove against the east wall, a rare occurrence.
