Rectangular feature in centre of south wall in garden, probably a raised treading floor where the grapes would have been pressed by foot.
The juice would have flowed into the dolium buried in the soil at the edge of the wall, and then into another dolium found in the peristyle garden inside the house (of II.9.5).
