Found on the east side of the entrance doorway was a painting of a God, possibly Vulcanus or Hephaistos, and a potter at his wheel.
Found on the wall on the east side of the painting, still partially conserved was CIL IV 7573 (and see II.3.8).
II.3.9 December 2005. Entrance.
On the right of the doorway would have been the painting seen below.
Underneath the painting was the graffito CIL IV 7574, no longer visible.
According to Epigraphik-Datenbank Clauss/Slaby (See www.manfredclauss.de) it read:

According to Varone and Stefani, it read:

accesse(ri)t
nisi ius

Della Corte also wrote that this graffito was written in red, to the right of II.3.7, and that there were two paintings on the exterior wall.
Apart from the one below, there was another, badly mutilated, of Minerva and Mercury.
