Originally, this Insula was numbered as Reg. II, Insula 14, and then in the 1950’s at the moment of excavation altered to Reg I, Insula 14.

The river god Sarnus is shown pouring water into the river and overlooking the busy activity at the harbour.
This includes produce being delivered and weighed, of donkeys and mules carrying goods to and from barges, and a boat loaded with produce.
