This has also been referred to as Arco di Nerone [Garrucci], Arch of Nero Caesar (son of Germanicus) [Mommsen], Arco di Tiberio [Mau], Arco di Germanico e dei suo figli Druso e Nerone [Spano and Sogliano].

Dedication to Nero Julius Caesar, on marble slab from near the arch at north-east entrance to the Forum. April 2023.

Honorary inscription probably pertaining to an equestrian statue of Nero Julius Caesar (6-31 AD), son of Germanicus and Agrippina Maggiore.

According to the Epigraphic Database Roma, found 16th May 1818, near the arch at the north-east entrance to the Forum, it reads -
